Lions Are Growing
James A. Moorer
Note by John Chowning, 30 June 2008:
It's a great piece and the voice is that of Charles Shere, the Berkeley
composer and sometimes music critic. He did a companion piece "Perfect Days"
using cross synthesis, as I remember, again with Shere's voice and an
improvisation that the jazz flute player, Tim Weisberg, recorded specifically
for the piece.
Whether or not there is a CD I don't know, but I am sure that if you emailed
Andy he will let you know There was a recording made in the 80s "The Digital
Domain," which may include one or both.
